How can I help? The CSFG is a voluntary organisation, and help is always welcome. The main areas where you can help are as follows: 1. Contribute to one or more of the working groups that are drafting the CSFG CIBSE industry guide for energy savings in commercial kitchens.Although the Guide drafting work is well underway, there is still the opportunity to review and comment on the draft sections as they are referred back to the individual working groups. Refer to CSFG CIBSE Guide on energy savings and Working Group members 2. Make a financial contribution to the work of the CSFG.Because the CSFG is a sub-committee of CEDA, CESA, and FCSI, funds are raised via these organisations. If you are a member of one or more of these organisations, you can make a contribution via them, stating that you would like your contribution to be placed in the CSFG fund. If you are not a member of CEDA, CESA or the FCSI, you can still make a donation to the CSFG via CESA stating that you would like your contribution to be placed in the CSFG fund. Refer to Industry partners and web links 3. Offer a commercial kitchen for CSFG energy monitoring. The CSFG is actively looking for commercial kitchens from different sectors of the industry for energy monitoring and confidential data sharing. If you would like to find out more about becoming a CSFG partner in this work, please email via ‘CSFG contact information’ 4. Share monitoring / kitchen efficiency data with the CSFGThe CSFG is actively looking for data and energy efficiency information already collected from within commercial kitchens.
